To our customers we provide active lifestyle products from leading brands backed by outstanding customer service and attention to detail. One of our greatest assets is the flexibility we can provide in program development, including product recommendations, price points, assistance with creative and fulfillment options. We will drop ship to individual consumers and we have the capability to customize products with imprinted logos or other artwork.
Direct mail catalogs carry products from multiple manufacturers. These catalogs can have a closed clientele or could also be open to consumers.
A company will give product to a retailer for ordering additional quantities of the company’s product to support a promotion. The loader product is either raffled off at store level or kept by the retailer. Loaders are very popular with soft drink manufacturers and grocery/convenience store promotions.
Epic excels in credit card rewards and mileage (or points) programs. Consumers accumulate points (or miles, or dollars) and redeem for merchandise awards. Many of these programs utilize print (or web-based) merchandise catalogs, either generic or specifically tailored to the program.

The cornerstone of Epic’s success is the unique ability to provide a diverse array of services to our manufacturers. For the majority of our manufacturers, we function as the national sales force for the premium/incentive channel, with 14 sales groups providing complete coverage in all key markets. However, for some of our manufacturers, we also manage the retail, direct mail, specialty and internet channels. As an outsourced sale and marketing firm, we will take on the level of responsibility that will benefit the manufacturer the most.
Trade Show Management
We generate further exposure for our manufacturer’s products through promotion/display at trade shows, including the Motivation Show and other industry-specific events.
We have an in-house design department that creates customized presentations and other sales support materials. We also develop our own marketing collateral materials specifically tailored to the premium/incentive channel.
The premium channel has different requirements than the standard retail channel. We have trained specialists working exclusively for this specific channel freeing up members of your staff so they can focus on areas of higher return. We assume responsibility for purchasing, order tracking, customer inquiries and inventory control.
The premium channel can add 400-5,000 new customers. We take responsibility for the billings, thus freeing your finance department from approving credit, tracking orders and collecting payments from accounts that can do as little as $500.00 in sales. We also pay rep commissions, thereby reducing the potential workload even further.

Tyler Scott, President and CEO, has worked in the sporting goods industry for over 20 years. His experience extends into all areas of manufacturing, operations, design, product development and sales. He has held positions at several Fortune 500 companies prior to starting Epic International in 1999.
Joe Jagelka, National Sales Manager, is responsible for sales marketing for the Premium/Incentive channel as well as for several of Epic’s exclusive brands. He has held leadership positions with several internationally recognized brands and national wholesalers prior to Epic.
Mark is responsible for sales and marketing for several of Epic’s exclusive brands. He has over 25 years of experience in the bicycle, ski and outdoor wholesale and retail industries. Mark was a college rower, one-time elite Mountain bike racer and basically an outdoor enthusiast. “I’ve spent my life playing and competing outdoors. I’m a gear junkie and I love to share with others the tools I use to get outdoors.”
Tari is responsible for all aspects of customer service including customer and product inquiries, order entry, invoicing and inventory control. She works directly with the manufacturer to ensure a seamless point-to-point contact. Tari has worked as a key customer service manager for several large companies.
Angie, Inside Sales & Support, has a diverse background of experience, and currently handles all of the day to day operational activities at Epic. She is also an additional point of contact for our retail sales accounts, manages the electronic (EDI) order entry system and is responsible for setting up and maintaining all of our supplier agreements.
Hiro (Ichiro) Watanabe
Hiro Watanabe, Design Director, is responsible for all of the creative design activities at Epic including direct mail, sell sheets, product graphics and packaging, customized presentations and sales support materials. He also manages Epic (and our manufacturers) brand identities across all platforms.
Laura oversees ongoing business operations within the company. She brings 25 years of risk management background to Epic. Laura insures that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people in place to effectively grow the organization.
Jim has over 20 years of experience in call center and project management in the IT industry. Jim insures our systems perform properly day to day in addition to continued planning and development on systems design. Jim’s key role is recognized as Epic’s resident Amazon Expert providing knowledge and expertise for Seller and Vendor Central.
Nate Daly, retired Air Force Master Sargeant, leads the Epic Recycling Program, Annual Warehouse Sale and other charitable efforts and environmental programs throughout the year. His attention to detail ensures a smooth shipping experience for all of our key accounts.
Gina Lyon, Accounting and Finance, is responsible for managing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, commissions, benefits, and all financial reporting. Gina is a CPA and her accounting background includes both Big Four public accounting and Fortune 500 industry experience.
